Elizabeth Baron, LMHC

Elizabeth Baron is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and
psychotherapist who specializes in maternal mental health. She received her
master’s degree in counseling psychology from Columbia University’s Teachers
College and has extensive clinical experience in supporting women in all stages
of their motherhood journeys— from preconception and pregnancy, through
postpartum and parenting.

She began her career as a therapist at The Motherhood Center of NYC, where
she developed her expertise in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs).
In 2020 she started her own private practice to help women navigate their
experiences into and through motherhood.

Elizabeth is also the founder of With Elizabeth, a digital platform dedicated to
building community through expert-led education, interactive group sessions, and
strategic partnerships with other brands and specialists. She has been a featured
guest at numerous organizations, including UJA-Federation of New York,
financial services firm Lazard, Poppyseed Health, Hatch, and Little Spoon. She
has also been interviewed on the podcasts We Met at Acme, Her Move, and
Talking with Tata.

Through her meaningful work as a therapist and an advocate, Elizabeth’s mission
is two-fold: to support women through perinatal and parenting challenges, and to
destigmatize – on a global scale – maternal mental health issues.

She lives in NYC with her husband and two young daughters, ages 4 and 2.
