Is the Dandi IVF Care Kit designed to replace my injection process?

No, the Dandi kit is designed to be complementary, bringing more comfort and support to your injection process.

Does my doctor have to approve use of the IVF Care Kit?

Our products do not interfere with the medical protocols being prescribed by your doctor, so approval is not necessary. In fact, we spent over 2 years developing the Dandi kit in partnership with leading fertility doctors.

That said, you should absolutely consult with your doctor or care team if it feels right for you!

How did you come up with the idea for these products?

 From first hand struggles and listening to hundreds of patients, we realized how difficult the IVF injection process was. We looked for products to create a more comfortable and empowering treatment process, but they did not exist. So we created them.

Do these products work for egg retrieval and embryo transfer injections?

Yes, the Dandi IVF Care Kit was designed with every step of the injection process in mind. Whether you are going through subcutaneous injections for an egg retrieval, intramuscular injections for an embryo transfer, or plan to do both, the Dandi IVF Care Kit is here to support you throughout.

Are there various sizes of the belt?

We designed the belt to be as inclusive as possible with a one-size-fits all approach. We’ve also included an extender belt, to accommodate a broader range of sizes. The belt can accommodate a size range of approximately 25”-45”. Other US brands typically market this size range as:

  • Waist (where you’ll wear the belt for egg-retrieval injections): Size 2/XS - Size 22/XXL
  • Hip (where you’ll wear the belt for embryo-transfer injections): Size 0/XXS - Size 14/XL.

Can I buy this for somebody I know going through IVF or IUI?

Yes, the Dandi IVF Care Kit is a thoughtful way to show somebody you care. It can be hard to show up for a loved one, friend or co-worker going through fertility struggles, and the Dandi IVF Care Kit is a meaningful way to provide them with something that built for exactly what they’re going through.

Is the IVF Care Kit FSA/HSA eligible?

Yes, but we recommend getting a doctor’s prescription or letter of medical necessity which will help to ensure your plan administrator provides reimbursement.

Does the "Save 30% when you pay with FSA/HSA" language mean I get an additional 30% discount at checkout?

You may have noticed the language "Save 30% when you pay with FSA/HSA" on the IVF Care Kit page. This is provided by Flex, a third-party that enables FSA/HSA payments. This 30% savings refers to the money you save by purchasing eligible products using your tax-advantaged FSA/HSA dollars, relative to using non-FSA/HSA dollars which are fully taxed. This language does not imply any additional discount is provided by Dandi at checkout.

What is your return policy?

We are only able to accept returns of products that are 100% unused, in original packaging and within a 30-day window from purchase date. If you have any questions or concerns about your Dandi products, please reach out to hello@dandifertility.com.

Does Dandi’s virtual care replace my clinic visits or medical process?

Not at all. Dandi’s virtual care is intended to be complementary to your medical protocols, helping you to navigate the difficult journey with more support, guidance and personalized care. We do not replace your fertility doctor, but rather support in all the moments where care is needed outside of the clinic.

Is the Dandi team licensed and medically-credible?

Yes. We offer care through a team of fertility nurses, all of whom have Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenses/certifications. All our nurses have worked in fertility clinics, so they understand how to support patients along the clinical journey.

What’s the difference between using Dandi’s virtual care and a fertility coach?

Most fertility coaches have been through fertility struggles, but are not licensed medical professionals. Therefore, they do not have the expertise to support many facets of the fertility journey. While there are many excellent coaches out there, our philosophy is to provide care that relies on medical professionals and licensed experts. 

How can Dandi Care support my fertility journey?

To start, we are focused on providing you with a more supported and reassured injection experience. From medication unboxing and preparation to make sure you’re ready for your first night of injections, to live guidance to walk you through your injections in real time, we’re here every step of the way. Additionally, we offer fertility consultations, for general coaching, guidance and support across many facets of your fertility journey. Over time, Dandi Care will be expanding into many more areas of care

Is Dandi Care separate from Dandi’s products?

Our products and services can be purchased separately, or together, but we’re designed to create a unified care experience. Pairing our IVF Care Kit with virtual injection support can provide the physical comfort, practical guidance and emotional peace-of-mind that every patient deserves.

Can I cancel or reschedule a virtual care session?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. When you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours' notice, you will have the option to reschedule for a more convenient time or receive an account credit which can be used to rebook at a future date. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time or fail to show up, the appointment credit and ability to reschedule will be forfeited.
