Whether you're unboxing your fertility medications or need a step-by-step walkthrough during your IVF injections, our team of fertility nurses is available to guide you real time through the process. Here is what you can expect during your video session with a Dandi fertility nurse.

IVF Medication Support - Live Session with a Nurse

What will my Dandi fertility nurse walk me through on our call?

During this session your Dandi nurse will carefully walk you through your inventory for each medication in your IVF or egg freezing protocol.

Your Dandi nurse will be with you on the call real time to guide you through unboxing your fertility medications, go over correct storage of meds, and explain how to handle your medications.

They are also available for any and all questions you may have in order to feel confident with your shots!

During your live session, you and your Dandi nurse will go over:

  • Fertility Medication Inventory Checklist
Your Dandi nurse will cross-check your injection protocol against your box of medications from the pharmacy to ensure nothing is missing. So make sure you have your treatment calendar and medication shipment handy!
  • Understanding Your IVF Meds
We'll discuss the purpose of each medication in your protocol, how it works, and any potential side effects to anticipate. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge so you feel confident and informed throughout your injections.
  • Preparing for Injections
Your Dandi nurse will provide guidance on how to store and organize your medications to streamline the process and minimize stress. We'll make sure you have everything you need to navigate your medication regimen with ease.

    Live IVF Injection Support Session

    Real-Time IVF Injections
During your live injection session, your Dandi nurse will guide you through the process of mixing, preparing and administering your IVF injections in real time.

We'll ensure you feel confident and comfortable.

Q&A with Your Dandi Fertility Nurse

Beyond medication guidance, your Dandi nurse will be there to answer any questions you may have about the fertility treatment process and offer emotional support, encouragement, and reassurance.

Our nurses have worked with countless fertility patients and care about giving you the support you need.

IVF injections can be emotionally challenging in addition to the physical demand; we're here to support you every step of the way.

Tips to Prepare for Your Video Call With A Dandi Fertility Nurse

We want to make sure you get as much value from your call as possible.

Spending a few minutes ahead of your scheduled call to prepare for your live IVF injection support session can help ensure a productive experience.

Prior to Your Call with Your Dandi Nurse:

    • Have Your Fertility Medication Info On Hand:
Gather up your paperwork! Make sure you have your medication list, treatment calendar, and any instructions from your clinic close by during your call. It helps to double-check everything with your nurse to make sure you're both on the same page.
    • Safe Needle Disposal:
Have a safe spot ready for used needles, like a designated sharps container or a thick plastic bottle. Make sure it is properly labeled and kept out of reach of children and pets.
    • Alcohol Swabs:
Make sure you have alcohol swabs to clean the injection site. If you don't have any, make sure to buy them or get them from your clinic ahead of time.
    • Make A List of Any Questions You Have:
Write down any questions or concerns you want to discuss with your Dandi nurse beforehand, so you don’t forget to ask during your session.
    • Choose a Bright, Quiet Spot for Your Call:
Make sure to take the video call on your computer or have your phone on a stand so you can be hands-free during your injection session. It also helps you have a table or counter to lay everything out. Make sure you sit somewhere with excellent lighting so your Dandi nurse can see clearly; this is especially important for a live injection session.
    • Tech Check:
Ensure your internet, camera, and microphone are all working smoothly to avoid any interruptions.
    • Be Kind to Yourself:
Remember, it's okay to take your time learning about your medications and/or the injection process. Don't be hard on yourself, and feel free to ask for help or clarification along the way. That's what we're here for!

At Dandi Fertility, we're committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to those on their fertility journey.

Our sessions are designed to empower you with the knowledge and confidence you need to navigate IVF injections successfully.
